(Ordinary Least Square: OLS)
(Non-bank) This study objective to understand the current issue of non-performing loans (NPLs), an overview of the business group and to determine the effect of the Non-Performing Loans on Profitability of Non-bank Financial Institutions. A comprehensive study time period five years, during since 2011-2015. Using time series data for 60 months, choose to study a proxy variable include the siam commercial leasing public company limited is a representative of the group. The studies with the multiple regression analysis by ordinary least square Method.
The results showed that; 1) the non-performing loans variable and the size of the group variable are correlated inversely proportional to profitability of non-bank financial institutions, according to the hypothesis on statistical significance, 2) the net interest income variable and the loan quality ratios variable are direct correlated proportional to profitability of non-bank financial institutions, according to the hypothesis on statistical significance. In terms of the operating expense variable and the non-interest income variable not statistically significant to profitability of non-bank financial institutions. |
