การจัดการพื้นที่ใช้สอยและสภาพแวดล้อมภายในร้านหนังสืออิสระ เขตกรุงเทพมหานคร

Abstract

การศึกษางานวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการจัดการพื้นที่ใช้สอยและสภาพแวดล้อมกายภาพภายในร้านหนังสืออิสระ เขตกรุงเทพมหานคร เพื่อให้ทราบถึงกิจกรรมภายในร้าน แล้วนำมาเปรียบเทียบเพื่อหาแนวทางเสนอแนะการออกแบบที่เหมาะสมกับร้านหนังสืออิสระ โดยมีวิธีดำเนินการวิจัยเป็น 2 ส่วนหลัก คือ ส่วนแรก เป็นการสำรวจร้านหนังสืออิสระในกรุงเทพมหานครทั้งหมด 13 ร้าน จากนั้นจึงทำการเลือกกรณีศึกษาด้วยเกณฑ์ด้านลักษณะอาคารที่เป็นตึกแถวเหมือนกัน มีขนาดพื้นและกิจกรรมที่ใกล้เคียงกัน จึงได้ผลการเลือกกรณีศึกษาทั้งหมด 4 ร้าน ได้แก่ Book & Belonging Dasa book café Fathom book space และ Zombie book ส่วนที่สอง คือ การลงพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลด้วยการสังเกต การสัมภาษณ์ การบันทึกและรังวัดพื้นที่ เพื่อนำมาใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลอันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการศึกษาครั้งนี้ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า หากต้องการทำธุรกิจร้านหนังสืออิสระ สิ่งที่ต้องคำนึงถึง ได้แก่ 1) ทำเลที่ตั้ง ที่อยู่ในแหล่งชุมชน มีคนพลุกพล่านตลอดเวลา และการเดินทางที่สะดวก 2) การจัดการพื้นที่ใช้สอยภายในร้าน พบว่า ขนาดพื้นที่ภายในไม่มีผลต่อการจัดกิจกรรมที่หลากหลายภายในร้านหนังสืออิสระ เพราะการจัดการพื้นที่ใช้สอยด้วยความยืดหยุ่น เป็นรูปแบบที่เหมาะสมและมีประสิทธิภาพมากที่สุด 3) ด้านสภาพแวดล้อม เน้นให้อาคารมีจุดเด่นในส่วนหน้าร้าน เน้นให้ความโปร่ง มองดูสบายตา มองเห็นได้ง่าย และแสงแสว่างเป็นสิ่งสำคัญต่อสภาพแวดล้อมทั้งภายในและภายนอกอาคาร ในการรับรู้การมองเห็น 4) การจัดการด้านบริหารและการบริการสำหรับธุรกิจร้านหนังสืออิสระ คือ การสร้างกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย ในรูปแบบหมุนเวียน และปรับเปลี่ยนได้ตามช่วงเวลานั้นๆ เพื่อให้ทันยุคทันสมัย รวมถึงการจำหน่ายหนังสือในปัจจุบันต้องอาศัยการขายทั้งในส่วนหน้าร้านและออนไลน์ควบคู่กันไป จึงทำให้เกิดรายได้อย่างยั่งยืน
