The study of “The Relationship between Information Exposures, Attitudes, Self-concepts and Behaviors towards Stem Cell Donation among Bangkokians” aims at the study of (1) information exposures about stem cell donation (2) attitudes towards stem cell donation (3) self-concepts towards stem cell donation and (4) the relationship between information exposures, attitudes, self-concepts and behaviors towards stem cell donation. This research is a survey research using questionnaires as a tool in collecting data. The questionnaires were administered to respondents in Bangkok who were between 18-50 years old. Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient were employed for the analysis of the data. Computer program were used for data processing. The results show that 1. Most of respondents were female who were 18-25 years old and were undergraduate students, private company officers, and had the average monthly income between 10,001-15,000 baht. 2. Most of respondents were never exposed to information about stem cell donation except from personal media and print media. In terms of media exposures of the Thai Red Cross National Blood Centre, most of respondents were never exposed to information except from personal media, mostly by friends or acquaintances and followed by doctors, nurses or staff donations. 3. Most of respondents had their attitudes towards stem cell donation in the moderate level. The issue “donor stem cell should be voluntary and without expect in return” was the highest mean. 4. Most of respondents had their self-concepts towards stem cell donation in the moderate level. 5. Most of respondents were “determined to be a donor” because “it was a charitable donation” the most. The reason for not being a donor is mostly because “didn’t get a clear information” the most. 6. Information exposures about stem cell donation are significantly correlated with behavior towards stem cell donation in the same direction. 7. Attitudes towards stem cell donation are significantly correlated with behavior toward stem cell donation in the opposite direction. 8. Self-concepts towards stem cell donation are significantly correlated with behavior toward stem cell donation in the opposite direction.
