A case study of video clip strategies in social media for motivation to exercise with running is found on the “Runner’s Journeys” Facebook fanpage. The objectives of this research are 1) to study the video content of the Runner’s Journey page that affects the motivation to exercise by running, 2) to study how the presentation of video content on the Runner’s Journey page affects the motivation of the audience to exercise by running, and 3) to study strategies for creating video clips in social media that will affect the motivation to exercise. The methodology uses qualitative research with content analysis. The “Runner’s Journeys” Facebook fanpage study included group chat (focus group interviews) that ran for three months and included a total of 12 people, both male and female runners between the ages of 20 and 35 years of age, who had no experience in video content production. The results of the study showed that video clip content can motivate people to exercise by running, and offer valuable content to viewers that demonstrate the obvious benefits, which are the joy of running and the resulting loss of weight. The best way to get a presentation that results in a running incentive is to offer a fun interview creating emotion and understanding, as well as providing a clear approach on how to run. In addition to the strategy of creating video clips in social media providing content coverage, giving an engaging name to the media item will offer an incentive to the viewer to go for a quick and easy run according to the content of the video clip.
