Abstract: | The increasing attention towards New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) arises from concerns about climate change and the depletion of fossil fuel resources. China, with its burgeoning population and rapid economic growth, represents a crucial market for NEVs. This research delves into the future development trends of NEVs in China, focusing on government policies, technological advancements, incentives, and consumer preferences. Employing a diverse range of methodologies, from systematic literature reviews to qualitative interviews and bibliometric analyses, this research offers a comprehensive understanding of NEVs' trajectory in China. Our literature review highlights the societal implications of NEVs, touching upon environmental, economic, and consumer aspects. Furthermore, the chosen research methods, validated by numerous scholars in the NEV domain, ensure a multifaceted understanding of the research questions. This research, with its rigorous approach and significant insights, aims to provide meaningful contributions to both China's and the global discourse on NEVs. |
