The objective of this research work is to study on marketing communication, direct and passive advertising via Facebook Page, case study, Central World Shopping Center. This is a qualitative research work that uses the content analysis technique. The research tool is the designed questionnaire to interview consumers or customers who buy products and follow or become members of communication channels of Central World Shopping Center, or have experiences from seeing advertisements through Facebook fan page of Central World Shopping Center. The findings show that the communication can be divided into 5 categories. The category that has the highest frequency of appearance is the presentation of products whilst the categories that have the lowest frequency of appearance are the contents to promote campaigns and the contents to promote the shopping center. At the same time, the findings from the study on engagement in the presentation of direct and passive advertising via Facebook Page, reveal that the category of the contents to promote special events has the total engagements of 49,095 whilst the category of the contents to promote the shopping center has the total engagements of 29,066, respectively. The reason for such engagement is that the contents to promote special events are interesting or attractive to the target groups that are interested. When consumers or customers are interested, they will spread words of mouths by liking or sharing the contents.
