ความต้องการด้านเนื้อหาของผู้พิการทางสายตา เพื่อผลิตหนังสือเสียงบนแอพพลิเคชั่น “Read for the Blind”

Abstract

งานวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการด้านเนื้อหาของผู้พิการทางสายตา เพื่อผลิตหนังสือเสียงบนแอพพลิเคชั่น “Read for the Blind” 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและเเนวทางการเเก้ไขปัญหา การสร้างหนังสือเสียงผ่านระบบแอพพลิเคชั่น “Read for the Blind” ผ่านมุมมองของผู้พิการทางสายตา งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) โดยการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก (In-depth Interview) กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้พิการทางสายตาจำนวน 14 คน ที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 18 – 70 ปี ผลการวิจัยพบว่า เนื้อหาที่ผู้พิการทางสายตาต้องการ 6 ลำดับ คือ 1) วรรณกรรมและบทละคร เพราะ เนื้อหามีความน่าสนใจ ชวนติดตาม และสนุกสนาน 2) พุทธประวัติและธรรมะ เป็นเนื้อหาที่ให้ข้อคิด เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการดำเนินชีวิต 3) กฎหมาย เพื่อการเข้าถึงสิทธิของผู้พิการทางสายตา 4) สารสนเทศและไอทีในด้านนวัตกรรม ที่มีประโยชน์ในการรองรับการใช้งานกับผู้พิการทางสายตา 5) ข้อมูลการแพทย์ ด้านการปฐมพยาบาลผู้ป่วยเบื้องต้น และ 6) สารคดีท่องเที่ยว นอกจากนี้ยังพบปัญหา 3 ประการ คือ 1) หนังสือเสียงผ่านแอพพลิเคชั่น “Read for the Blind” มีคุณภาพเสียงไม่ชัดเจนและฟังไม่รู้เรื่อง 2) เนื้อหาไม่ครบถ้วน เพราะบทประพันธ์มีเนื้อหาที่ยาว ส่งผลให้การผลิตหนังสือเสียงมีระยะเวลาในการผลิตที่ยาวนาน และ 3) แอพพลิเคชั่น “Read for the Blind” ไม่รองรับต่อการใช้งานของผู้พิการทางสายตา ที่มีการสั่งงานซับซ้อนผ่านการสัมผัสแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหา คือ 1) เพิ่มช่องทางการดาวน์โหลดที่หลากหลาย เพื่อขยายการผลิตหนังสือเสียงผ่านระบบแอพพลิเคชั่น “Read for the Blind” 2) การพัฒนาคุณภาพเสียง รวมถึงใส่ใจกับอักขระวรรณยุกต์และคำควบกล้ำ และเลือกใช้น้ำเสียงที่เหมาะสมกับเอกลักษณ์ของตัวละคร

The research had two objectives: 1) to examine the Need for Content from the Visually Impaired for Producing Audio Books on Application “Read for the Blind, 2) to investigate the problems and solutions proposed by the visually impaired towards the application “Read for the Blind.” The research was qualitative, using in-depth interviews. The samples were those visually impaired aged from 18 – 70 years. The results showed that there were seven kinds of content that the sample required: 1) literature and drama due to their interesting and inviting plots with pleasure. 2) Buddha’s biography and Dhamma whose commentaries content benefiting the visually impaired. 3) Law and their access to legal rights. 4) Information and innovation for supporting the benefits of the visually impaired 5) Medical Information on first aid, and 6) Travelling documentary. Besides, there were three problems: 1) the making audio books through the application “Read for the Blind” had unclear quality and difficult to understand. 2) The incomplete content due to the length of the story and taking long time to produce, and 3) the unsupported system of the application whose complex command through touch by the visually impaired. There were two solutions for 1) to increase channels for downloading the application in any mobile device, 2) to develop the quality to sound and pay attention to clear pronunciations and select the appropriate tone for unique characters.
